Drew and I took advantage of a long rain storm here last week to head to the mountains for some good snow play (or mainly snow consumption, in his case). We had a fabulous time romping around and throwing snow at each other, and ended up sweating profusely because of course a snowy day in Los Angeles is bound to be at least 50 degrees and sunny. A good time was had by all (except our snowman- see the unfortunate demise sequence in the photos I posted). Both Andy and I are on holiday break from school- his is mid-term and mine is semester break- and enjoying the opportunity to spend our evenings and weekends doing something other than frantically writing papers. We're super excited for our upcoming trip to Bucerias, Mexico- Drew's first international foray since he's been out of the womb (although he did boast an impressive 7 country total in utero- poor number two is already getting the raw end of the stick when it comes to prenatal travel). Enjoying the holiday chaos- we've made it through three hannukah parties and our first couple christmas affairs- Drew has officially gotten into the whole "PRESENT!!!" craze, although half the time he's just as happy with the box and the bows in which his gifts arrive. He did manage to drag all his holiday loot into bed with us this morning in an attempt to convince us it was time to get up and greet the day, so he's clearly thrilled with it. Will update about our trip when we return in early January! Here is a cute pic of Drew conversing with our snowman before he decided he'd rather have lunch than a new friend: No feedback yetLeave a comment |
